Razer is seeking to extend its dominance over the 13in laptop market with this refresh of the Blade Stealth  starting from £1,299 for the base model and up to £1,799. The device will come in three different variations and the specs for this can be found below:

The previous versions of the Razer Blade Stealth have been outstanding if not a little pricey compared to the competition – but when you’re dealing with this level of quality you’re probably expecting to pay a little bit of a premium. Regardless, if you’re purchasing one of these it’s because you want one of the best laptops going, not because you’re putting yourself on a tight budget. This refresh upgrades the processor from a 7th to 8th generation Core i7 and also includes a 4k option that was missing from the previous generation which will make those top-end enthusiasts happy. The inclusion of Nvidia’s GeForce MX150 graphics units on the two more expensive versions ensures top of the range graphics performance for all your gaming needs. The hardware upgrades are incremental and as expected, but that doesn’t mean they’re not impressive The most obvious rival to Razer is always going to be Alienware. The Alienware 13 will be the direct comparison here but it has yet to feature an 8th generation Intel processor, although a refresh will surely be on its way. Razer and Alienware tend to match each other product for product, as you can see with the Razer Blade vs the Alienware 15 too. We’ll share our full opinion when we get our hands on one for some more extensive testing, but if you just can’t wait and you’re in the market for your next portable powerhouse then have a look at our best gaming laptops chart right here.
