Method 1: Root Galaxy M40 using SuperSU

Steps to Root Samsung Galaxy M40

Step 1: Download the SuperSU.zip file. Step 2: Power off your device and boot it into TWRP recovery. Step 3: For that, press and hold the Volume Up + Power button simultaneously until your device boots into recovery. Note: If you are unable to restart to do so, use the TWRP Manager app from Google Play Store. Step 4: As soon as your device enters TWRP recovery, click on the Install option from the main page.

All your internal storage files and folders present will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Search for the downloaded SuperSU.zip file and select it. On the next screen, swipe right to start the Galaxy M40 rooting process.

It will hardly last for a few minutes. As soon as the process completes,  a root successful message will appear.
